Chapter 2: CUCM 7.0 Installation

This is my installation video of CUCM 7.0 on VMware 1.0.1. There are few key points to remember during pre and post installation:

• IP of CUCM and VMnet should be of same range. Check Vmware->Host->Virtual Network Settings.
• Remove the dependency of CUCM on DNS after installation. Check System->Servers->find.
• Activate services on CUCM. Click on required services but it is always safe to check all services.
• Uncheck the Auto Registration Disabled for quick testing of registration of IP phones.

Chapter 1: The Transaction

I have started this blog with intention of learning and explaining the mysterious world of CCIE Voice. The ultimate goal is to share knowledge. What ever technologies will be discussed here will focus on the current blueprint of CCIE Voice exam as much as possible. We all know that the transaction from the R&S/SP phase to Voice is very painful. Not because Voice track is difficult but i have always believed that the authors who write the study materials mainly decide the degree of grasping a certain technology. I hope that easier content writing can make this transaction phase less painful.
